Predestination takes all glory from self and gives all glory to God. Predestination is
not just to salvation only. It is unto obedience that God has elected (I Peter 1:2)
those whom He knew (as His) from the beginning. God has predestined that we, the
elect, should be conformed to the image of His son Jesus, who is our example (I
Peter 2:21,22). We are to live like He lived. God predetermined the righteousness of
a particular people before the world began (II Tim. 1:9). Paul said, "God hath from
the beginning chosen you to salvation (II Thess. 2:13)." He hath chosen us in Him
before the foundation of the world that we should be holy and without blame - (Eph.
1:4). All that were predestinated were called, justified and glorified. (past-tense
