For my teachers in school, I wrote more than necessary to make the grade. Teachers were a lifeline.
At home, no one paid any attention or cared, except for my first step-father. (Father deceased.)
Poetry came to me as a kid. I lived in a clamorous house --- turmoil, fighting, arguing non-stop. Pen and paper were my sole way of expression. I wanted no part of all that drama… and still don't.
After my only brother died, I started writing fiction. It angers me how he endured so much from people his whole life, starting with our mother. My screenplays center around the turmoil in his life.
I currently have five screenplays, two non-fiction inspirational books and one book of adolescent poetry.

Due to filming limitations, three screenplays lean toward animation.
Folks who write pour so much heart and soul into their work. We see it all so vividly played out in our minds. It's a shame to see it sit idle, simply because no one has time for a "no one" (unless they want to take your money!)

An opportunity to work at NASA brought some of the most interesting work my way. Developing prototypes and following through to flight projects, it was very rewarding.
As with most (if not all) of government jobs, the employees push the limit to see how little they can do to get by. I went to work TO WORK, stayed almost nine years and left.

Always fascinated with the skeletons of buildings and floor plans, I rehabbed properties, especially houses the majority of folks see as lost causes.
I love to buy, fix these projects to completion and sell them, with control over the entire operation. There is no rejection... of my finished project or me.
